Seriously, I've wanted glasses since freshman year of college. I've been reading in dimly lit rooms for years, hoping my eyes would deteriorate. And as luck would have it, they did!
Finally, my big chance to look sophisticated and intelligent. You'll note that this picture was taken in front of a bookcase, which can only enhance my new persona.
Question: if someone is ridiculous enough to think glasses will make her look smarter, can anything as minor as glasses really help her? Answer: uh...

I love them! But hey, I remember when you had glasses the first time.
Oh yeah... I usually try to forget/gloss over that year. My pink Shopko frames weren't so cool.
