Moth to a Flame

Here's a (focused) review of the last couple weeks:

watched: Frontline's The Undertaking. Beautiful, heart-wrenching story of a family-0wned funeral home in central Michigan.

read: The Year of Magical Thinking, Joan Didion's memoir of the year that followed the death of her husband. While grieving for her husband, she also had to deal with her daughter's serious, and eventually fatal, illness.

watched: Frontline's The Age of AIDS. It starts with the first patients to display the "mysterious" symptoms in 1981 and covers the politics, science and human element of the disease through today.

read: Into the Wild, John Krakauer's true story of a young man who walked into the Alaskan bush and died after a summer of attempting to live off the land.

Yikes. Gotta get out of here. Need to look at a poster of kittens, google some inspirational quotes.
